An Overview: ^

This is not a discussion group. Instead, it is a forum for sharing EFT information. The intent of the Rising Sun EFT Group is to help us all learn more about using EFT effectively and build successful practices with EFT. I would like for the sharing to be based in case histories and EFT stories. If you have something more general and theoretical to share, I suggest that you include some specific examples of how you've put the ideas into practice. We can also share practice-building ideas and materials -- ways to promote EFT.

Guidelines For Contributions: ^

  • EFT Case Histories and EFT personal stories. When possible, include the specific words for what you tapped for. The more details you include, the more we will learn.
  • New ideas for using EFT, innovative methods or wording, variations that you develop - please include examples.
  • EFT materials you develop -- handouts, class or workshop outlines, articles. You can also share ideas for marketing and advertising, how you 'bridge the gap' and reach others with EFT when most people have never heard of it. If you're doing groups or corporate work with EFT, let us know how you advertise and attract the participants.
  • Descriptions of EFT workshops and presentations. We can share announcements of workshops and, while most of us can't travel to attend them, we can get ideas of what others are doing and how they are presenting EFT. Also, if any of us offer EFT phone group 'teleclasses', these may be announced.

How To Submit A Contribution: ^

  • When you want to address a message to the group, send it to betty@risingsunhealing.com. I'll screen all messages and, if the message is appropriate and within the guidelines for sharing, I'll send it on out to all the group members.
  • Please include your geographical location (because that's interesting to know)
  • Include your e-mail address if you'd like people to write back directly to you.
  • Please put "EFT Group" in the subject line.


At this time, the group will not be a place to ask questions about how to treat certain issues or to get help for personal issues. However, you can suggest themes for the sharing and I'll post about one theme a week, inviting people to share case histories on that theme.

I will not forward inspirational stories, political announcements, petitions, channeled material, even worthy causes. That's just not what the list is for. If we limit our e-mails to the guidelines above, then the group will be manageable and will be a forum for good quality sharing concerning EFT -- and that is my goal for this group.

I ask all participants to be respectful of each other and value our different ways of working. This is not a place to critique others or disagree or give advice or make editorial comments. There are some discussion groups on Gary Craig's website if anyone wants a discussion format, which can be a good thing, too. In this group, if you write directly to the person who shared, please keep the intent of the group in mind. I want this to be a safe place to share, where everyone's methods and ideas are respected. Contentiousness is not appropriate and may result in the participant's being removed from the group.

If you have something to share with the group or other comments for me, by all means write to me! I look forward to the many interesting stories and other information that you will have to share.
